PPPOC is about fixing politicians. We are very concerned that our politicians and political parties routinely mislead to get elected, hide facts and cater to special interest groups. They don't listen, they make back-room deals and give beyond logic explanations. Political advertising is attack oriented without fact or solutions. They keep us all in the dark. We cannot even get a detailed financial statement for Canada showing where our money was spent! If we don't fix politicians they will just keep getting worse.

We have employment contracts for our jobs. Why not politicians? They have far greater ability to do both harm and good.

Why a contract? A contract separates those political candidates that intend to keep their word from those that intend not to. The politician contract basically says, "keep your word, listen to what your electorate says, do as your electorate wishes or you can be fired before the next election." A contract puts the peoples wishes before those of a political party!

Why under-contract politicians?
-they will listen to all of us,
-they will act for all of us and behave,
-they will help ensure government transparency,
-the contract puts the electorates wishes ABOVE the political party.

We need to find better people to be our politicians and help them get elected. Putting them under-contract helps ensure they put listening to electors, doing what electors want BEFORE the wishes of a political party.. The contract formalizes what they should be doing anyways.
